Caelan took first place at the Eagle Road Club Good Friday under 8’s race at Hog Hill battling against Harvey Tadman [pictured]. The under 8’s event was always going to be won by either racer as Harvey stayed on his wheel throughout most of the race. Caelan held his position attacking on the climbs and eventually took advantage of a stray back marker and moved away to take the chequered flag comfortably.

He was also happy to stand on the top podium and receive his winners medal and cash prize. Not bad for a mornings ride he thought.
